I finally was able to _really_ resolve the issue. The root cause of the problem was that I didn't invoke the .Focus() method on the CommentText field before validating it, hitting the OK button, then hitting the Save button. Without the Purchase Line Comments having the text box in focus all of my ported in text wasn't saving. All good now!
