I did the exact same thing a while back. Your reporting tools setup gives the report server and report manager URL, and I assume you didn't create test versions of the report server and point your directories there. So, your reports got upgraded. I was able to go back to the production environment and redeploy the reports from the reporting tools setup window. The reports started working again after I did that.
