Thank you so much for taking time to respond. I did find the issue. I was suspicious, but could not confirm it; however Microsoft support felt it was the cause of the issue. the UK installs were originally working, the citirx person felt it necessary to copy over the dynamics set file from a US workstation; which then caused all kinds of version conflicts on the UK modules and of course it deactivates the UK modules, but not being an application person they didn't understand the impact of their decision.
We ended up editing the db upgrade table to the correct version as the du000010 and 20 had the correct version it was only the upgrade table that was throwing the wrong version.
another issue to be aware of , if you need UK companies make sure you are in using the UK utilities-- one of those things you really know, but could have been another issue that contributed to the mix up in versions-- Unfortunately I do not have access to the citrix install so I cannot control what happened, but I can document again so no other technician inadvertantly wipes out our UK install again.
Thank you again for all your assistance, I know it is time consuming. Its these little strange things that increase the knowledge base though!
