I am receiving the error: error ActiveX component can't create object: 'ADODB.Connection' when attempting to run an Integration in GP via Integration Manager. This is specific to one workstation, and it fails on a pre-integration script that connects to the database. The error specifically states that it fails on the line in my script that reads: set pGPConnection = CreateObject("ADODB.Connection").
The machine with the issue is a Windows 7 workstation where this integration was working properly until a virus was found and removed from the PC on Thursday. The IT person also re-installed Internet Explorer. I have since uninstalled and re-installed both GP and Integration Manager, but this error still persists. I have registered a number of dll's that I found as possible issues in my research of the error. I suspect there is a problem in the registry, or possibly with MDAC.
They are running GP 2010, and the integration is working on other workstations.
If anyone has any suggestions, I would really appreciate it.
