We have a user that has experienced an issue with their home screen in GP 2013. He was working from home (VPN/RDC) and everything was good - could customize the home screen just fine. Then on Monday while logged in at work he could no longer customize his home screen - he could go through the motions but when he hit OK it was like he hit cancel instead. It did not give any errors - it just would take his changes. I had him reset his home screen role and that worked ok. Then after doing this he was able to customize his home screen again just fine. Tonight he connected from home again and again he had the same issue in that it would not hold his customizations - he has again reset his home screen role and can now customize it again. The only thing I can see that is common to both occurrences is that he had just gone from VPN/RDC to direct log in (or vice versa). Has anyone else come across this issue? I know this user doesn't tend to log off when he leaves work - so when he remotes in he is accessing an already active desktop (and possibly already active Dynamics).
