Hello:
In a test environment where the company database is over 11 GB, I have imported additional inventory items, bills of material, routings, and quantities. After conducting other necessary configurations, I know that the "exec mfgfix90CHECKDATA" script needs to be run against the company database.
I ran it, for about 45 minutes. It never concluded. So, I stopped it since I needed to move on to my other "daily" tasks.
I was trying to generate the results to file. Would it have been any faster, if I had simply generated results to "screen"?
I know that it's good practice to run this. But, is it a "must"? I'm just trying to be proactive, before importing data into production.
Thanks!
John
