Did I mention that I lost my prized Surface in Tampa during the User Group events? Talk about panic. But it really is amazing how it came back to me.
We work within a great community of people and at some point, I’m sure my Surface would have found its way back, but the kudos really go out to the Dynamics Social Network. My one plea for help in locating my Surface was retweeted across the community within minutes and then not too long after that, it was located and returned to me. Thank you social media!
That’s one example of the power of social media, but from what I hear, the buzz around the Summits/Forum was incredible this year. Take a look at the traction that Dynamic Communities alone had during the event
- Total of 40 blog posts that drew in 5,824 views
- More than 500 original Tweets were sent out via the @AXUG, @CRMUG, @GPUG and @NAVUG handles including General Session live tweeting
- 4,600+ photos were taken, transferred, sorted, prioritized, and shared throughout the week.
And that was just the start of it all. The ripple-effect kicks in once one person retweets or shares the original, and then so on and so on, the information is shared across the community. Whether the community was tuned in to follow the action, share in the experience or engage in conversation, we did it! Thanks to Dynamic Communities and all the other social contributors during the week – let’s keep this energy going!
Stay tuned in as 2014 is right around the corner and so is the next installment of the “Must Use Hashtags.”
