Canadian Company here.
We have subs in US, China and Hong Kong.
I am writing a balance sheet for the China and Hong Kong subs in MR RU7.
The Chinese companies are functional and reporting curreny CNY (Chinese). The US subs are functional and reporting currency USD.
In the column format I restrict the column to be one of the Chinese companies. I leave the Currency Display field blank
That should get me the reporting currency of the company restricted in the reporting unit field.
With the default company in MR set to a Chinese company I get the expected results.
With the default company set to a company that has functional and reporting currency of USD the result changes.
With the default company set to a company that has functional and reporting currency of CAD the result changes again.
MR seems to be reading the default company reporting currency rather than the column restricted reporting currency.
Is that by design or a bug?
