This is an error that is commonly seen when the user does not have access to the data permission being used by the query. I've included a few questions and comments below that hopefully will help.
- What version of GP and BP are you using?
- What user is trying to execute this query?
- Does the BP administrator (user who installed BP) also see this error?
- What query are you trying to run? Could you be more specific about how you navigated to it and the query name?
- In the majority of cases, the user executing the query doesn't have access to the underlying data permission, so limiting the data returned likely won't help.
- The easiest way to remedy is to go to Site Actions > Site Settings > Business Portal Administration > Users and assign a role to the user. Assigning roles will also automatically assign data permissions.
