The user is on GP 11.00.1307. They wish to retire an asset in Period 1 and the asset is on a half year Averaging Convention. They understand that the depreciation will include periods 1-6 in the year of disposal however, the actual retirement/removal of the asset should be in period 1, when it left the building but the system is forcing it to period 6. Is this working as intended? How do others handle this?
