Unfortunately, there isn't a way to suppress the DESC column only at the transaction detail level. You can add a NP (non-print) to the DESC column but that keeps it from showing up at all levels so I doubt that would work.
Suppressing or changing the DESC column at the transaction level would be a good product suggestion. If you have not used our Microsoft Connect site before, you can use the following invitation code from the main Connect page:

Once registered, you will have to add Microsoft Dynamics to Your Dashboard using the Connection Directory link. You will then be able to search for and leave feedback from Your Dashboard.
