Bingo! I uninstalled SonicWall Global VPN Client from the machine and smartlist returned the expected results. When uninstalling I lost my streaming connection to them which is probably a good indicator that even though it wasn't running it still had a tie to the network.
Donnette, they are going to try NetExtender to see if that works fine but I will pass on that information.
