In both, you could purchase a system such as PaperSave which will do a great job for you. You can also attach PDFs and documents to Record Notes but this can get messy fast if the documents are not stored in the correct place. In version 2013 there is an included document attachment system that works wonderful. I will put PDFs, Word docs, Excel docs, almost any type into the SQL data base and they are then available on any user's workstations.
